Volunteer with Community Compassion Network

Due to the upcoming disruption in SNAP benefits, many basic needs non-profits in town need more volunteers right now. The Community Compassion Network (CCN) is looking for students to help with stocking shelves, guiding people through the pantry, or loading vehicles with food. This is a great way to get some service hours while also helping with vital needs in our Mt. Pleasant community. Please sign up at https://ccnfeeds.org/ by clicking "volunteer." If you have questions or are looking for volunteer opportunities with other non-profits that need volunteers due to the disruption in SNAP, email Campbell Geary at geary1cj@cmich.edu.

Isabella County Restoration House has grown out of a concern for the underlying causes of homelessness. While the ICRH, its community partners, and the guests work toward eliminating those causes, we realize the need is immediate and urgent for individuals who need shelter. Our short-term goal is to provide a safe, warm place for those in our community who need shelter for as many winter nights as possible. ICRH averages 30 guests per night. Volunteers must agree to a background search and submit a volunteer sign up form, located on their website. Volunteers are needed for a variety of shifts morning, afternoons, evenings and overnights.
